Pony Express Couriers

Pony Express runs a dedicated on-board courier (OBC) service into Ann Arbor, Michigan for shipments that have to move now. A single courier hand-carries your consignment as accompanied baggage, collected anywhere in the UK, through to delivery in Ann Arbor. Call 0800 288 4052 — pricing is always by quote.

Route into Washtenaw County

Home to the University of Michigan and a dense cluster of automotive R&D and life-sciences companies, Ann Arbor sits around 40 miles west of Detroit. Our courier typically flies into Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW) before the short final leg by road into Ann Arbor.

How the hand-carry service works

Your shipment stays with a single courier for the whole journey as accompanied baggage — never pooled with other freight, never left unattended.

What we carry to Ann Arbor

  • Automotive engineering prototypes and components
  • Legal, patent and licensing documents against a deadline
  • Medical and life-sciences samples and devices
  • AOG and specialist manufacturing parts

Customs and clearance

Our courier carries all commercial documentation and clears US customs personally, so the shipment reaches your recipient without warehouse delays.
