Pony Express Couriers

Pony Express runs a same day courier service for Appley Bridge and the wider West Lancashire villages — covering the WN6 postcodes — with collection typically inside 30 minutes and a direct drive to anywhere in the UK, no hub sorting or overnight hold-ups. Pricing is always by quote. Call 0800 288 4052 for an instant, no-obligation price.

Appley Bridge coverage and response times

We collect from Appley Bridge itself and the neighbouring villages of Shevington, Parbold, Standish and Newburgh, using the B5375 and B5206 to reach the M6 at Standish (Junction 27) or the M58 towards Skelmersdale in minutes. A local courier is usually with you inside 30 minutes of booking, and because every job is direct-drive rather than trunked through a depot, your goods leave Appley Bridge on one van and arrive on the same one.

Industries we move every day around Appley Bridge

The area sits between Wigan's engineering and warehousing estates and the smaller industrial units along the Leeds-Liverpool canal corridor, so we regularly carry machine parts, packaging, and pallets for local manufacturers, plus documents and samples for businesses working out of the converted mill buildings nearby.
