Pony Express Couriers

For urgent shipments to Arbaoun, Pony Express offers an on-board courier (OBC) service — a dedicated courier hand-carries your consignment from UK collection through to arrival in Algeria on the next suitable flight, with no consolidation or warehouse handling along the way. Pricing is by quote — call 0800 288 4052 or email sales@ponyexpress.co.uk.

Kabylie hill-country location

Arbaoun is a small commune in the hill country of Tizi Ouzou Province, within the wider Larbaa Nath Irathen area of Kabylie. Local roads can be winding and narrow, which is where having one courier personally responsible for the shipment — rather than a chain of hauliers — pays off.

Routing and airports

Flights land at Algiers Houari Boumediene International Airport, with the final leg to Arbaoun completed by road; we'll confirm realistic transfer times when you book, based on current road conditions.

What we hand-carry

Typical consignments include AOG parts, urgent legal and financial documents, medical items, and prototype or sample parts for manufacturers awaiting sign-off.

Customs on arrival

The courier travels with full commercial paperwork and works directly with your Algerian contact or clearing agent to avoid unnecessary delays at customs.
