Pony Express Couriers

Pony Express operates a dedicated on-board courier (OBC) service to Batna, in Algeria's Aurès Mountains, close to the Roman ruins of Timgad — collection anywhere in the UK, one courier the whole way. Pricing is by quote. Call 0800 288 4052 or email sales@ponyexpress.co.uk.

How it works

Your courier checks the shipment in as accompanying baggage on the next available flight and stays with it personally throughout, delivering it in person in Batna rather than releasing it to a freight network.

Route to Batna

Batna has its own airport (Mostefa Ben Boulaid Airport), reached via Algiers, or we can route directly where flight schedules allow, with the city serving as a gateway to the Aurès region.

What we carry

  • Legal and financial documents
  • Mining and industrial equipment components
  • Medical samples and equipment
  • Prototypes and engineering parts
  • High-value or irreplaceable items

Customs and clearance

Full export documentation travels with the courier, who clears customs in person on arrival in Algeria, keeping delivery to Batna on schedule.

Why Pony Express

Over 30 years of urgent courier experience, a 24/7/365 desk, goods-in-transit insurance, and one courier from UK collection to Batna delivery.
