Pony Express Couriers

For urgent shipments to Biskra, known as the "door of the desert" at the edge of the Sahara, Pony Express offers a dedicated on-board courier (OBC) service — a single courier hand-carries your consignment from anywhere in the UK to delivery. Pricing is by quote. Call 0800 288 4052 or email sales@ponyexpress.co.uk.

On-board courier explained

Your courier books onto the next available flight, carries the shipment as accompanying baggage, and stays with it in person throughout, handing it over directly in Biskra.

Route to Biskra

Biskra has its own airport, Mohamed Khider Airport, with connections typically routed via Algiers. The city is a major date-palm growing centre and a traditional gateway into the Sahara.

What we carry

  • Agricultural equipment and date-export documentation
  • Legal and financial documents
  • Oil and gas industry components — the region borders Algeria's energy fields
  • Medical samples and equipment
  • High-value or irreplaceable items

Customs and clearance

Your courier carries all export paperwork and clears customs in person on arrival, keeping delivery to Biskra on schedule.

Why Pony Express

30+ years of urgent courier experience, 24/7/365 availability, goods-in-transit insurance, and one courier from UK collection to Biskra delivery.
