Pony Express provides an on-board courier (OBC) service to Boghni, the busy market town in the Kabylie foothills south of Tizi Ouzou. For shipments that cannot wait for standard freight schedules, our courier collects anywhere in the UK and personally hand-carries the item to Boghni, staying with it from door to door.

How OBC works

A single courier travels with your consignment as accompanied baggage, handling check-in, security and customs in person rather than passing it between freight hubs — a faster and more secure option for urgent or sensitive cargo.

Route and transit to Boghni

Journeys are routed via Algiers' Houari Boumediene International Airport, with the final leg driven south into the Kabylie hills toward Boghni, an area known for its weekly market and small textile and craft workshops.

What we carry

AOG aircraft parts, urgent legal and financial paperwork, medical equipment and samples, prototypes, and other high-value goods that need a named courier accountable for them throughout.

Customs and clearance

Our courier handles UK export paperwork and Algerian import clearance in person, avoiding the delays of unattended freight sitting in a bonded warehouse.
