Pony Express Couriers

Pony Express provides an on-board courier (OBC) service to Boudouaou, an industrial town in Boumerdès Province just east of Algiers, hand-carrying urgent shipments from UK collection through to door delivery on the next available flight. Pricing is by quote — call 0800 288 4052.

How OBC works

A dedicated courier carries your shipment as accompanied baggage from UK collection through the flight to delivery, avoiding freight consolidation entirely and keeping the item under constant supervision.

Route to Boudouaou

Boudouaou sits close to Algiers, around 30km from Houari Boumediene International Airport (ALG), giving us one of the quicker final legs in our Algerian OBC network once our courier lands.

What we carry

Boudouaou's industrial zone supports manufacturing and processing plants along the Algiers-Boumerdès corridor, so we regularly carry machinery parts and industrial spares, alongside standard OBC cargo such as legal documents, medical items and commercial samples.

Customs and clearance

Our courier carries the commercial invoice, certificate of origin and any export paperwork required, and manages clearance through Algerian customs on arrival at Algiers.
