Pony Express Couriers

When a shipment into Bridgeport needs to move faster than a freight network can manage, Pony Express sends a dedicated on-board courier to hand-carry it from the UK on the next available flight. Collection is arranged anywhere in the UK, and the courier stays with the shipment through check-in, the flight and US Customs before delivering it in person. Pricing is by quote. Call 0800 288 4052 for an instant no-obligation quote.

Route into Bridgeport

Bridgeport sits within Fairfield County, on Connecticut's Gold Coast, within easy road reach of New York's JFK and LaGuardia airports. Most OBC shipments route through JFK, where the courier clears US Customs before driving the final leg north into Bridgeport rather than waiting on a smaller regional connection.

What we hand-carry to Bridgeport

Bridgeport retains a strong manufacturing base in precision engineering, electronics and industrial components, and we regularly carry urgent replacement parts and inspection samples for firms that can't let a production line stall. The wider Fairfield County corridor is also home to significant financial services and hedge fund activity, generating demand for contracts, compliance documents and other paperwork requiring a verified chain of custody, alongside healthcare equipment components for the region's hospital network.

Customs and clearance

Your courier carries full commercial documentation, and we can arrange a US customs broker in advance so clearance happens the moment the flight lands.
