Pony Express Couriers

Buçimas, a village community in the Pogradec area of south-eastern Albania near Lake Ohrid, is reached through Pony Express's on-board courier (OBC) service. A dedicated courier hand-carries your shipment from UK collection through to delivery, rather than routing it through general freight.

Route to Buçimas

The courier flies via a European connecting hub into Tirana International Airport (Rinas), then drives east on the SH3 through Elbasan and Librazhd towards Pogradec, before the final local leg into Buçimas — a journey of around two and a half to three hours in total.

What we carry

  • AOG and agricultural machinery parts for this farming and lakeside community
  • Urgent legal and financial documents
  • Medical supplies and pharmaceuticals
  • Small trade samples and prototypes

Customs

Albania sits outside the EU, so export paperwork is prepared in the UK before departure and the courier clears customs at Rinas in person.
