Cabinda is Angola's northern enclave, separated from the rest of the country by a strip of Democratic Republic of Congo territory and central to Angola's offshore oil industry. When a rig or platform is waiting on a critical part, Pony Express hand-carries it there on the next available flight rather than routing it through general freight. How we reach Cabinda

Our courier flies from the UK, typically routing via Luanda, onward to Cabinda's airport, holding the shipment as accompanied baggage the entire way and delivering directly to the port, base or platform contact on arrival.

What we carry into Cabinda

AOG and offshore platform spares, drilling equipment components, and urgent technical and compliance documents for the oil and gas operators based here make up the bulk of our work in and out of the enclave.

Customs and enclave logistics

Cabinda's geography — cut off from the Angolan mainland by land — means shipments typically clear customs on arrival at Cabinda itself; our courier carries invoices and permits in person and liaises directly with the receiving site.
