Pony Express Couriers

When a shipment to Colorado Springs can't wait for standard freight, Pony Express arranges a dedicated on-board courier who hand-carries it as accompanied baggage from UK collection through to final delivery. Pricing is by quote — call 0800 288 4052 or email sales@ponyexpress.co.uk for an instant quote.

How on-board courier works

One courier stays with your goods for the whole journey — UK collection, check-in, the flight, US customs clearance and the final road delivery — so there's no unaccompanied stage where delays or damage can occur.

Route and airport for Colorado Springs

Deliveries route via Colorado Springs Airport (COS), typically connecting through Denver from the UK, with the courier completing the final drive once cleared through customs.

What we hand-carry to Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs is one of the most important defence and space centres in the US, home to Peterson Space Force Base, Schriever Space Force Base, NORAD and US Space Command, alongside a growing cybersecurity and technology sector. We regularly hand-carry sensitive defence and satellite-related components, calibration equipment and time-critical prototypes into the city, as well as signed legal and financial documents.

Customs and clearance

Your courier carries full commercial documentation and clears US customs in person on arrival, removing the wait that comes with unaccompanied freight sitting in a bonded warehouse.
