Pony Express Couriers

Pony Express runs a dedicated on-board courier (OBC) service into Concord, North Carolina for shipments too urgent to risk on standard freight — one courier hand-carries your goods from UK collection all the way to final delivery. Pricing is by quote — call 0800 288 4052 or email sales@ponyexpress.co.uk for an instant quote.

How on-board courier works

Your shipment travels the whole way with one dedicated courier — UK collection, check-in, the flight, US customs clearance and the final road delivery — with no unaccompanied leg for delays to creep in.

Route and airport for Concord

Deliveries typically route via Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT), a short drive from Concord, connecting through a major East Coast gateway from the UK, with the courier completing the final leg by road once through customs.

What we hand-carry to Concord

Concord is best known as home to Charlotte Motor Speedway and a dense cluster of NASCAR race teams and motorsport-engineering businesses, alongside general manufacturing and distribution linked to the wider Charlotte metro area. We regularly hand-carry urgent motorsport components, precision-engineered parts and time-critical prototypes into the area, along with signed legal and financial documents.

Customs and clearance

Your courier carries full commercial paperwork and clears US customs in person on arrival, avoiding the delay of unaccompanied freight sitting in a bonded warehouse.
