How on-board courier works

A single courier accompanies the shipment from UK collection through check-in, the flight, US customs clearance and on to the final Dayton address by road, so there is never a point where it's left in an unattended freight system.

Route and airport for Dayton

Deliveries route via Dayton International Airport (DAY), typically connecting through a major US hub from the UK, with the courier driving the final leg to the delivery address once through customs.

What we hand-carry to Dayton

Dayton is often called the birthplace of aviation and remains one of the most important aerospace and defence centres in the US, home to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and a dense cluster of aerospace research and advanced-manufacturing firms. We regularly hand-carry AOG parts, sensitive test equipment, defence-related components and time-critical prototypes into the city, alongside signed legal and financial documents.

Customs and clearance

Your courier carries the full commercial documentation and clears US customs in person on landing, avoiding the delays of unaccompanied freight sitting in a bonded warehouse waiting on a broker.
