Escaldes-Engordany, the parish immediately next to Andorra la Vella and home to the Caldea thermal spa, shares Andorra's biggest logistical quirk: there's no airport in the country at all. When a shipment here is genuinely urgent, Pony Express sends a courier who flies in and hand-carries it personally the rest of the way, collecting from anywhere in the UK first.

Getting into Andorra

Your courier flies into Barcelona–El Prat Airport and drives the mountain crossing into Andorra, or occasionally routes via Toulouse–Blagnac depending on flight times. The shipment travels as accompanied baggage throughout, so there's no cargo handover at either border.

What we carry

We regularly hand-carry business and banking documents, retail and hospitality supplies for Escaldes-Engordany's tourism and spa sector, and samples or equipment on a fixed deadline.

Customs and clearance

Because Andorra sits outside the EU customs union, your courier carries the correct paperwork for both the Spanish or French crossing and Andorran entry, keeping the whole journey moving smoothly.
