Pony Express Couriers

Pony Express runs an on-board courier (OBC) service to Fier in south-western Albania, an important centre for the country's oil and petrochemical industry. We collect anywhere in the UK and fly out with a dedicated courier who travels the whole route. Call 0800 288 4052 for a quote.

Routing to Fier

Our courier flies into Tirana International Airport and continues by road to Fier, a journey of around two hours, giving reliable timings for genuinely urgent shipments into the region.

Why hand-carry

Because one courier carries the shipment personally throughout, there's no consolidation or warehousing, and you get a single accountable contact from UK collection to delivery.

What we carry

Given Fier's oil, gas and petrochemical base, we regularly move urgent plant and equipment spares, technical documentation, and safety-critical components, alongside general commercial documents.

Customs and clearance

Albania sits outside the EU customs union, so our courier prepares export and customs paperwork ahead of departure and manages clearance on arrival.
