Pony Express runs a dedicated on-board courier (OBC) service into Ghardaïa, the M'Zab valley oasis city in central Algeria, hand-carrying time-critical shipments from collection anywhere in the UK through to door delivery. Pricing is by quote — call 0800 288 4052 for an instant, no-obligation quote.

How OBC works

One of our dedicated couriers collects your consignment, carries it through security as accompanied baggage, and stays with it on the next available flight — no warehousing, no consolidation, no risk of it sitting in a freight queue.

Route to Ghardaïa

Ghardaïa is served directly by Noumérat–Moufdi Zakaria Airport (GHA), just south of the city, which keeps transfer times short once our courier lands. We route via Algiers (ALG) with an onward domestic connection, or drive in from Algiers when flight timing works out faster for your delivery deadline.

What we carry

Typical OBC jobs into Ghardaïa include spares and instrumentation for the region's oil and gas support industry, parts for date-processing and agricultural equipment, medical consignments, and commercial documents that can't wait for standard freight.

Customs and clearance

Our courier carries the commercial invoice, certificate of origin and any export paperwork your shipment needs, and stays with the consignment through Algerian customs clearance on arrival.
