In Amenas, deep in the Sahara of Illizi Province, is one of Algeria's major gas-processing hubs — an environment where a missing part or document can shut down expensive operations. Pony Express provides a genuine AOG-standard on-board courier service, collecting from anywhere in the UK and hand-carrying your shipment to site personally.

Route to In Amenas

Your courier flies into In Amenas Airport (IAM), which serves the town and its surrounding gas facilities directly, keeping the shipment as accompanied baggage from UK collection to final handover — critical when every hour of downtime has a cost.

What we carry

Typical jobs include AOG and process-plant spares, safety-critical documentation, calibration equipment and samples that must reach the field with an unbroken chain of custody.

Customs and clearance

Given the industrial nature of shipments into In Amenas, we prepare full export documentation, permits and site-access paperwork in advance so your courier can move through customs with minimal delay.
