Pony Express Couriers

When freight timelines aren't fast enough, Pony Express sends a dedicated on-board courier to hand-carry your shipment from the UK to Jacksonville on the next available flight. We collect anywhere in the UK, and your courier keeps the shipment with them the entire way — through check-in, security, the flight and US Customs — before delivering it in person. Pricing is by quote. Call 0800 288 4052 for an instant no-obligation quote.

Route into Jacksonville

Jacksonville International Airport sits close to the city and, while most transatlantic itineraries connect through a hub such as Atlanta or Miami, the final leg into JAX is usually short. Our couriers check live routing at the time of booking so your shipment travels on whichever combination lands first.

What we carry into Jacksonville

Jacksonville is built around one of the busiest deep-water ports on the US East Coast, so we regularly hand-carry time-critical parts, samples and documentation for shipping, logistics and freight-forwarding businesses working against vessel schedules. The city is also a major financial services and insurance centre and hosts a significant US Navy presence at Naval Air Station Jacksonville and Naval Station Mayport, generating steady demand for urgent technical parts, calibration equipment and secure paperwork that needs a verified chain of custody.

Customs and clearance

Your courier carries full commercial invoices and export paperwork, and where useful we arrange a US customs broker in advance so clearance happens the moment the flight lands.
