Pony Express provides on-board courier (OBC) hand-carry delivery to Khost for shipments where a courier's personal custody matters more than a standard freight consignment note. Collection is available anywhere in the UK. Every job is priced by quote — call 0800 288 4052 or email sales@ponyexpress.co.uk.

Reaching southeastern Afghanistan

Khost sits close to the Pakistan border in the Loya Paktia region, served by a small local airport with limited scheduled traffic. Our couriers typically route via Kabul before a final domestic connection or ground transfer coordinated with your contact.

How the hand-carry works

Your courier completes UK export documentation, keeps the shipment in personal custody for the full journey, and delivers it in person to your nominated recipient in Khost, with proof of delivery available.

What we carry

Common jobs include equipment and vehicle parts, legal and project paperwork, medical supplies, and other time-critical cargo for organisations working in the region.

Customs and clearance

Export paperwork is prepared before departure, and we coordinate with your local contact on import formalities so the shipment clears without delay.
