Pony Express Couriers

Pony Express provides an on-board courier (OBC) service into Kushk, a district of Herat province close to Afghanistan's border with Turkmenistan, historically a stop on regional caravan and trade routes. A dedicated courier hand-carries your shipment personally from UK collection to delivery. Call 0800 288 4052 or email sales@ponyexpress.co.uk — pricing is by quote.

Route via Herat

Shipments fly into Herat International Airport before the onward leg north to Kushk, with the courier remaining with the consignment for the full journey.

What we carry

Common shipments include AOG parts, legal and financial documents, medical supplies, and equipment or samples for trade and agricultural businesses in the border region.

Customs and clearance

We prepare invoices and any import documentation before departure so your courier clears customs at Herat promptly and continues directly on to Kushk.

Frequently asked questions

  • How fast can a courier depart? Usually on the next available flight, subject to documentation.
  • Do you collect UK-wide? Yes, with direct drive to the departure airport from anywhere in the UK.
  • What can't be sent? Restricted or dangerous goods are excluded.
  • What's the cost? Individually quoted by route, weight and urgency.
