Luanda is Angola's capital and its main gateway for urgent international freight, a sprawling Atlantic port city built around the oil, gas and shipping trade. When a shipment can't sit in a standard freight schedule, Pony Express puts a dedicated courier on the next available flight to hand-carry it in personally. Pricing is by quote; call 0800 288 4052 to arrange collection.

How our OBC service reaches Luanda

A courier collects anywhere in the UK, checks in the shipment as accompanied hand baggage, and flies direct or via a major European hub to Dr. António Agostinho Neto International Airport, Luanda's gateway airport on the city's outskirts, then delivers straight to site with the goods never out of sight.

What we hand-carry to Luanda

Offshore oil and gas AOG parts, drilling and marine equipment components, legal and banking documents for the city's financial sector, and medical supplies are the shipments we're asked to move most often into Angola's largest and busiest city.

Customs and clearance

Angola's import formalities can be slow for unaccompanied freight; our courier travels with the full set of commercial invoices, permits and any pre-arranged clearance paperwork and can support the process in person on arrival, which is often the difference between same-day and multi-day delivery.
