Lubango sits high in Angola's Huíla plateau, overlooked by the Cristo Rei statue and reached from the coast by the dramatic Serra da Leba mountain road — a city where a scheduled freight delay can mean days, not hours. Pony Express instead hand-carries urgent shipments on the next available flight, all the way to the door. Pricing is by quote; call 0800 288 4052.

Getting a shipment to Lubango

Our courier flies into Luanda's international airport and continues by connecting domestic flight or road up onto the plateau, staying with the shipment throughout so nothing is handed off to a separate carrier partway through the journey.

What we carry into Lubango

Agricultural and dairy-processing equipment parts, mining and quarrying spares, and documents for the region's growing services sector are common cargo, alongside medical items needed at short notice in a city some distance from the coast.

Customs and inland transfer

Because Lubango is inland, clearance is usually completed in Luanda before the onward leg; our courier carries the paperwork throughout and can assist in person if questions arise at either point.
