Pony Express Couriers
Luena, capital of Moxico province, lies deep in Angola's remote east, close to the border region with Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo — a distance that makes standard freight schedules unreliable for anything genuinely urgent. Pony Express instead hand-carries the shipment on the next available flight. Pricing is by quote; call 0800 288 4052.
Reaching Luena
Our courier flies into Luanda and takes the onward domestic connection east to Luena, keeping the shipment as accompanied baggage throughout so it never sits waiting at a transfer point.
What we carry into Luena
Equipment spares for forestry, agriculture and regional infrastructure projects, along with documentation for government and development agencies based in Moxico province, make up the bulk of this route's traffic.
Customs and connections
Clearance takes place on arrival into the country, with the courier carrying commercial invoices and permits through to the domestic leg and available in person at either point if needed.
