Pony Express Couriers

Some shipments to Mobile, Alabama are simply too urgent for scheduled freight — that's where our on-board courier (OBC) service comes in. A single dedicated courier collects anywhere in the UK and hand-carries your consignment as accompanied baggage through to Mobile. Call 0800 288 4052 — pricing is always by quote.

Route to Alabama's Gulf Coast

Mobile is Alabama's only saltwater port and a major shipbuilding and aerospace centre, home to an Airbus final assembly line. Our courier connects via a major US gateway before the final leg into Mobile Regional Airport (MOB) or nearby Pensacola International.

How the hand-carry service works

Your shipment stays with a single courier for the entire journey as accompanied baggage — never consolidated with other freight, never left unattended.

What we carry to Mobile

  • AOG aircraft parts for the region's aerospace industry
  • Legal, shipping and financial documents on a deadline
  • Medical samples and devices
  • Shipbuilding and engineering prototypes

Customs and clearance

Our courier carries all commercial documentation and export licences and clears US customs personally, so the shipment reaches your recipient without delay.
