Pony Express runs a dedicated on-board courier (OBC) service from anywhere in the UK to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, for shipments that simply cannot wait for standard freight. A dedicated courier collects from your site, hand-carries the item through check-in and customs, and stays with it every step of the journey until it's signed for in Myrtle Beach. Pricing is arranged individually for every job — call 0800 288 4052 or email sales@ponyexpress.co.uk for an instant quote, day or night.

How on-board courier hand-carry works

Once you confirm a job, we book the next available flight and assign a courier who travels with your shipment as accompanied baggage or cabin luggage. There's no warehousing, no consolidation and no handover between carriers — the same person who collects from you in the UK is the one who places the item in the recipient's hands in Myrtle Beach.

Route and transit to Myrtle Beach

Shipments typically depart Heathrow or Gatwick and connect through a major East Coast gateway such as Charlotte or Atlanta before the final short hop into Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR), which sits only a few miles inland from the Grand Strand hotel corridor. Depending on flight schedules, door-to-door transit is often achievable within a single day.

What we carry to Myrtle Beach

Common jobs include AOG aircraft parts for the area's general aviation and flight-training traffic, staging and production equipment for the resort's convention and golf-tournament season, legal and financial paperwork requiring a signature by a fixed deadline, and time-critical medical samples or equipment for local hospitals and clinics.

Customs and clearance

Your courier carries full commercial documentation and travels through customs alongside the goods, which avoids the delays that can affect unaccompanied freight sitting in a bonded warehouse. We advise on paperwork requirements for the specific goods being carried before departure.
