Pony Express runs a same-day on-board courier (OBC) service to Newark, New Jersey, home to one of the busiest transatlantic freight and passenger gateways in the world. A dedicated courier collects your shipment anywhere in the UK and hand-carries it as accompanied baggage direct into Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), often completing delivery within the New York metro area the same day. Pricing is by quote. Call 0800 288 4052, 24/7/365.

Why choose on-board courier to Newark

EWR's dense schedule of direct UK flights makes Newark one of the fastest OBC routes we run: your courier flies with the shipment personally, avoiding the consolidation and hub delays of standard freight, and hands it over the moment they land.

Route and delivery

Newark city centre sits minutes from the airport via the NJ Turnpike, and Manhattan is a short PATH train or road journey beyond that, so a Newark OBC booking often doubles as our fastest option into greater New York.

What we carry

AOG aircraft parts (EWR is a major air cargo hub), Wall Street-bound legal and financial documents, pharmaceutical and clinical trial samples, and exhibition freight for the region's busy trade show calendar.

Customs and clearance

Our courier prepares UK export paperwork and manages US customs clearance on arrival, including commercial invoices and any required permits, so the shipment clears without delay.
