Pony Express Couriers

Pony Express runs a dedicated on-board courier (OBC) service to Ouargla, the oasis city that serves as a logistics hub for Algeria's oil and gas industry. A courier hand-carries your shipment from collection anywhere in the UK, staying with it the entire journey. Pricing is by quote — call 0800 288 4052.

Why energy-sector shippers choose OBC

When a critical part or document is needed on site without delay, an accompanied courier removes the consolidation and warehousing stages of standard freight, keeping the shipment moving continuously.

Route to Ouargla

Ouargla is served by Ain Beida Airport (OGX), reached via connections through Algiers, and sits close to the major Hassi Messaoud oilfield roughly 80km to the northeast.

What we hand-carry

Demand from Ouargla centres on AOG-style urgent spare parts for drilling and production equipment, geological and quality-control samples, safety-critical components, and time-sensitive contracts and technical documentation.

Customs and clearance

Our courier carries full commercial paperwork and coordinates with a clearing agent to move the shipment through Algerian customs efficiently.
