Pony Express can arrange on-board courier shipments toward Pārōn, the remote capital of Nuristan Province, collecting anywhere in the UK. Pricing is by quote — call 0800 288 4052 to discuss what's realistic for this route.

How on-board courier works

A dedicated courier hand-carries your shipment on commercial flights rather than consigning it to freight, staying with it in person for as much of the journey as the terrain allows.

Route to Pārōn

Nuristan is among the most isolated provinces in Afghanistan, with no airport and limited, often unpaved, mountain roads connecting it to the rest of the country. We route via a Gulf or Turkish hub to Kabul or Jalalabad and arrange the best available onward transfer, but we'll always give you an honest assessment of feasibility and timing rather than promise a speed we can't guarantee.

What we carry

The province's timber and walnut trades occasionally call for urgent documentation or equipment parts, which is the kind of shipment we're best placed to help with here.

Customs and clearance

We prepare the invoice, packing list and any permits needed for the accessible stage of the journey.

FAQs

• Can you guarantee delivery into Pārōn itself? Given the terrain and infrastructure, we'll talk through what's genuinely achievable when you call, rather than promise door-to-door timing we can't stand behind.
• Do you cover the wider region? Yes, we can quote for delivery as far as conditions allow.
• What's the cost? Quoted per job once we understand the routing involved.
