Pony Express Couriers

For shipments into Providence that simply can't wait, Pony Express provides a dedicated on-board courier who hand-carries your item from the UK on the next available flight. Collection is arranged anywhere in the UK, the courier stays with the shipment through security and customs, and delivers it in person rather than passing it to a domestic network. Pricing is by quote. Call 0800 288 4052 for an instant no-obligation quote.

Route into Providence

Providence is served by T.F. Green International Airport, a compact regional gateway a few miles south of the city, but transatlantic connections almost always route via Boston Logan first. Our couriers weigh up a Logan-to-Providence road transfer against a connecting flight into T.F. Green and pick whichever gets your shipment to the door quickest.

What we hand-carry to Providence

Providence's economy leans on jewellery and precision manufacturing — a legacy of its 'Jewelry Capital' history that still supports specialist tooling and metalwork firms — alongside a strong marine and maritime trade through Narragansett Bay, and a growing biotech and life sciences cluster tied to the city's universities and teaching hospitals. We regularly hand-carry design samples, tooling components, lab materials and time-critical clinical or research documentation into all three sectors, as well as legal paperwork requiring a documented chain of custody.

Customs and clearance

Your courier carries complete commercial documentation for US Customs and Border Protection, and we can pre-arrange a broker so the shipment clears as soon as it touches down.
