Pony Express Couriers

Pony Express provides a dedicated on-board courier (OBC) service to Pukë, in the mountains of northern Albania — a single courier hand-carries your shipment from collection anywhere in the UK to delivery. Pricing is by quote. Call 0800 288 4052 or email sales@ponyexpress.co.uk.

On-board courier, explained

Your consignment travels as accompanying baggage with a courier who stays with it personally through every leg, from the UK collection to the final delivery in Pukë, rather than being passed between freight handlers.

Route to Pukë

Pukë lies in the forested hills of the Puka District, part of Lezhë County, on the road linking Shkodër to Kukës in Albania's north. We route via Tirana International Airport, with a road transfer north through Shkodër.

What we carry

  • Forestry and timber-industry components
  • Legal and financial documents
  • Medical samples and equipment
  • Prototypes and engineering parts
  • High-value or irreplaceable items

Customs and clearance

Your courier carries all invoices and paperwork and clears the shipment through customs in person at Tirana, keeping the delivery on schedule.

Why Pony Express

Over three decades of urgent courier work, 24/7/365 availability, goods-in-transit insurance as standard, and one courier the whole way to Pukë.
