Pony Express Couriers

On-board courier hand-carry to Qal'ah-ye Now, the capital of Badghis Province in north-western Afghanistan, is available from Pony Express with collection anywhere in the UK. Pricing is by quote — call 0800 288 4052.

How the service works

A dedicated courier accompanies your consignment personally rather than booking it as standard freight, so it stays in hand from UK collection through to arrival.

Route to Qal'ah-ye Now

We route via a Gulf or Turkish hub to Herat International Airport, roughly 200km south-west, then complete the final leg by road.

What we carry

Badghis's economy is built on carpet weaving, livestock and agriculture, and we typically carry sample consignments, documents and parts for organisations trading with or operating in the region.

Customs and clearance

We prepare the invoice, packing list and any permits your shipment needs ahead of arrival at Herat, to keep clearance times to a minimum.

FAQs

  • How fast can you get there? We book the quickest available routing to Herat and confirm road transfer timing at booking.
  • Do you cover the wider province? Yes, on request.
  • Is my shipment tracked? Better than tracked — a courier carries it in person the whole way.
  • What's the price? Quoted individually per job.
