Pony Express Couriers

Pony Express provides an on-board courier (OBC) service to Relizane, the agricultural town on Algeria's western plains. A dedicated courier hand-carries your shipment from collection anywhere in the UK, staying with it in person through to arrival. Pricing is by quote — call 0800 288 4052.

How an on-board courier helps

Rather than being consolidated with other cargo, the shipment is checked in as the courier's personal baggage and carried through every stage of the journey — the quickest route when standard freight timescales won't work.

Reaching Relizane

With no international airport of its own, Relizane is typically reached via Oran's Ahmed Ben Bella Airport, around 80km to the west, with the final leg completed by road.

What we hand-carry

Relizane sits amid an intensive agricultural plain producing cereals, citrus and vegetables. We commonly carry parts for irrigation and processing machinery, quality samples, and urgent commercial or legal documentation.

Customs on arrival

Our courier travels with complete commercial paperwork and works with a clearing agent to keep the shipment moving through Algerian customs.
