Route into Richmond

Richmond International Airport is a modest regional gateway, so transatlantic connections almost always route through a major East Coast hub such as Washington Dulles or New York before a short final leg or road transfer into the city. Our couriers weigh both options at booking to get your shipment there fastest.

What we hand-carry to Richmond

As the capital of Virginia, Richmond has a substantial government, legal and financial services presence, and we regularly hand-carry contracts, court filings and regulatory paperwork that need a verifiable chain of custody. The city is also a growing pharmaceutical manufacturing centre, with several major drug producers operating plants in the metro area, so we carry lab samples, compliance documents and urgent equipment parts on tight deadlines, alongside components for the wider Mid-Atlantic manufacturing base nearby.

Customs and clearance

Your courier travels with full commercial documentation, and we can arrange a US customs broker ahead of time so the shipment clears as soon as it lands.
