How on-board courier works

One courier travels with your goods for the entire journey, from UK collection through check-in, the flight itself, US customs clearance, and the final road leg to the delivery address — there is no point at which the shipment is left unattended in a warehouse or depot.

Route and airport for Rochester

Deliveries are routed via Greater Rochester International Airport (ROC), typically connecting through a major hub such as New York or Toronto from the UK, with the courier completing the final drive to the delivery address once through customs.

What we hand-carry to Rochester

Rochester's economy still reflects its optics and imaging heritage — the University of Rochester and a cluster of photonics companies have built on the legacy left by Kodak and Xerox — and the city also has a strong medical-device and precision-manufacturing base. We frequently hand-carry sensitive optical components, calibration instruments, medical devices and time-critical prototypes into Rochester, along with signed contracts and financial documents.

Customs and clearance

Your courier carries the full commercial paperwork and clears US customs in person, which removes the waiting time that comes with unaccompanied freight sitting in a bonded warehouse for a broker.
