Pony Express Couriers

Pony Express provides an on-board courier (OBC) hand-carry service to Round Lake Beach, Illinois, in the Chicago metro area's northern lake country. A dedicated courier collects your shipment anywhere in the UK and flies with it as accompanied baggage into Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD), completing the onward road journey of around 45 minutes north-west on I-94 and Route 120 to Round Lake Beach. Pricing is by quote. Call 0800 288 4052, 24/7/365.

How on-board courier delivery works

One dedicated courier stays with your consignment throughout, from UK collection to final delivery in Round Lake Beach, so there's no depot handover and no reliance on a multi-leg freight network.

Route to Round Lake Beach

O'Hare is among the best-connected UK gateways in North America, with dense daily transatlantic schedules, and the drive north to the Round Lake area is straightforward via I-94.

What we carry

Precision components for manufacturing and packaging firms across the northern Chicago suburbs, legal and financial paperwork, medical or laboratory samples, and equipment parts for local industrial operators that need to be on-site fast.

Customs and clearance

Our courier prepares UK export documentation and manages US customs clearance on arrival, including commercial invoices and any required permits, so the shipment isn't delayed at the border.

Frequently asked questions

How quickly can a courier leave? Usually within a few hours of confirmed booking. Do you collect anywhere in the UK? Yes. Can you deliver to smaller towns outside Chicago itself? Yes — our courier completes the final road leg direct to the recipient, wherever in the metro area they are. What's the cost? Every job is quoted individually — call 0800 288 4052.
