For an urgent shipment to Sali in Algeria, a standard freight booking is often too slow when timing genuinely matters. Pony Express instead runs an on-board courier (OBC) service: one courier collects your shipment anywhere in the UK and hand-carries it personally, on the next available flight, right through to the recipient. Pricing is always by quote — call 0800 288 4052 to check departure options.

What an on-board courier means for you

Your shipment is never tendered into a general cargo network. One courier remains in physical custody of it from UK collection, through check-in, security and immigration, all the way to hand-over.

Getting your shipment to Sali

Flights route via Algiers Houari Boumediene International Airport, the country's main international gateway, with the courier continuing onward by road or connecting flight to complete delivery, confirming arrangements directly with the recipient.

What we carry

We regularly hand-carry urgent legal, financial and notarial paperwork, medical consignments, spare parts for local businesses, and personal effects for families and companies with links between the UK and Algeria.

Customs prepared before departure

A full commercial invoice and any supporting documentation is prepared in advance and travels with the courier, so clearance is completed as one continuous journey rather than a separate freight process.
