Pony Express Couriers

Pony Express runs an on-board courier (OBC) service to Sidi Daoud, hand-carrying urgent shipments on the next available flight from the UK, with one courier in personal charge of the consignment throughout. Pricing is by quote — call 0800 288 4052 or email sales@ponyexpress.co.uk.

A Mediterranean fishing port

Sidi Daoud is a coastal town in Boumerdès Province, long known for its fishing fleet and historic tuna madrague on the Mediterranean coast near Cap Djinet. Fishing and marine businesses here often need parts or documents delivered against a tight deadline.

Route and airport

OBC shipments fly into Algiers Houari Boumediene International Airport, with a relatively short road transfer on to Sidi Daoud along the coast — usually under two hours depending on traffic.

What we carry

Marine and engine parts, AOG aircraft components, urgent legal and financial documents, and medical consignments are typical jobs on this route.

Customs and clearance

The courier carries complete commercial documentation and liaises with your local contact or clearing agent to keep the shipment moving.
