Pony Express Couriers

Set in the olive-covered hills of Béjaïa Province, Souama is deep in Kabylie — a beautiful part of Algeria, but not one served by scheduled freight in a hurry. When time is the only thing that matters, Pony Express hand-carries your shipment there personally, collecting from anywhere in the UK and staying with it all the way.

The route to Souama

Our courier flies into Béjaïa Abane Ramdane Airport, the closest airport to this part of Kabylie, before completing the final stretch into the hills by road. Keeping the shipment as accompanied baggage throughout means it moves at the speed of the courier, not the speed of a freight schedule.

What we carry

We're regularly asked to hand-carry documents needing signature, spare parts for olive-oil processing and other local agri-businesses, and samples or prototypes that must arrive intact and on a fixed deadline.

Customs and clearance

Your courier carries commercial invoices and any required export or import paperwork, so clearance through Algerian customs is straightforward on arrival.

Frequently asked questions

  • Is Souama too remote for OBC? No — hand-carry couriers routinely reach smaller Kabylie towns via Béjaïa.
  • Can you collect from anywhere in the UK? Yes, nationwide, 24/7/365.
  • Do you carry sensitive documents? Yes, with full chain-of-custody the entire journey.
  • What's the cost? Priced by quote depending on route and urgency — call for a free estimate.
