Takerbouzt is one of the smaller communes of Tizi Ouzou Province, tucked into the Kabylie hills of northern Algeria. When a shipment to this part of the country is genuinely urgent, Pony Express sends a dedicated on-board courier who collects anywhere in the UK and hand-carries your goods personally, on the next suitable flight, right through to delivery. Pricing is by quote — call 0800 288 4052 to check departure options.

One courier, start to finish

There's no freight consolidation and no warehousing involved: your shipment stays in the physical custody of a single courier from UK collection through to the moment it's handed to the recipient in Takerbouzt.

The route we take

Flights land at Algiers Houari Boumediene International Airport before a road transfer into the Kabylie hills via Tizi Ouzou town, from where local roads lead on to Takerbouzt and its neighbouring communes.

What we're regularly asked to carry

Notarised documents for property and inheritance matters, replacement parts for local workshops and farm equipment, medical consignments, and personal items for UK families with ties to the region are all typical.

Handling customs before arrival

Every shipment travels with a fully prepared commercial invoice and supporting paperwork, so Algerian customs clearance is completed as part of the same continuous journey rather than a separate freight step.
