When a shipment to Tiaret absolutely has to travel on the next available flight, Pony Express sends a dedicated on-board courier (OBC) to hand-carry it from collection anywhere in the UK through to arrival in western Algeria. The courier stays with the consignment throughout, clearing check-in, security and customs formalities in person. Pricing is by quote — call 0800 288 4052 for an instant, no-obligation quote.

How our on-board courier service works

Once booked, a courier is despatched to collect from your UK address, verify and pack the goods, and book onto the next suitable flight routing toward Algeria. The shipment never leaves the courier's possession, which makes OBC the fastest and most secure option for consignments too urgent or too sensitive for standard air freight.

Routing to Tiaret

Tiaret sits on Algeria's high plains, roughly 260km southwest of Algiers. Most OBC movements route via Algiers' Houari Boumediene Airport with a road transfer along the N14, though we can also work to Tiaret's own Bou Chekif Airport when flight scheduling allows — keeping final-mile delivery as direct as possible.

What we carry to Tiaret

Typical shipments include spare parts for agricultural and cereal-milling machinery, components for the region's livestock and equine sector — Tiaret is home to Algeria's national horse stud — legal and banking documents, and time-critical engineering samples.

Customs and clearance

Our courier carries full commercial documentation and works with your nominated clearing agent (or ours) at the Algerian border to keep formalities moving, though final clearance always rests with Algerian customs.
