Pony Express offers an on-board courier (OBC) service to Tizi Gheniff, a hillside commune of olive groves in the south-west of Tizi Ouzou province. For freight too urgent or too sensitive for standard air cargo, our courier collects anywhere in the UK and personally hand-carries the shipment through to Tizi Gheniff.

How OBC works

A single named courier stays with your shipment for the entire journey — checking it in, clearing security and customs, and handing it over in person — instead of routing it through multiple freight handlers.

Route and transit to Tizi Gheniff

Journeys fly into Algiers' Houari Boumediene International Airport before the courier drives the final stretch east toward the Kabylie hills and the Tizi Gheniff area, known locally for its olive terraces.

What we carry

AOG aircraft parts, urgent legal and financial paperwork, medical equipment and samples, prototypes, and other high-value or irreplaceable cargo requiring a single accountable courier throughout.

Customs and clearance

Our courier manages export paperwork in the UK and import clearance in Algeria in person, so nothing is left waiting unattended in a bonded warehouse.
