Vila Teixeira da Silva — known today as Bailundo, the historic seat of the Ovimbundu Bailundo kingdom in Angola's Huambo province — is reached by Pony Express through a dedicated on-board courier who hand-carries urgent shipments from any UK collection point straight to the recipient's door. Pricing is by quote; call 0800 288 4052 for an immediate quote.

A dedicated courier, not a freight booking

Rather than consigning your item to a cargo hold and a chain of handlers, one Pony Express courier carries the shipment personally through check-in, customs and every connection, right up to Huambo province.

Getting to the Huambo highlands

Bailundo sits in Angola's central highlands, not far from Huambo city and its airport, the main gateway for this coffee-growing region. UK departures typically connect via Lisbon, with a final domestic or road leg from Huambo to Bailundo.

Typical shipments

• Parts and consumables for the coffee and agri-processing sector
• Telecoms and generator spares for rural infrastructure projects
• Time-critical legal and banking documents
• Medical and laboratory items

Customs support

Our courier carries full commercial paperwork and stays with the shipment through Angolan customs clearance, which matters most on routes like this one where onward domestic transport can otherwise add days.
